Dubai’s Catfish reopens in a new location
Been missing out on Catfish’s warming and spice-packed bowls of jollof?

After a short break in 2020, the homegrown West African food concept from Dubai-based entrepreneur Gbemi Giwa is finally back in action.
Catfish fans can tuck into healthy bowls of affordable African comfort eats by visiting its brand-new food truck at the Ripe Market in Dubai’s Academy Park or ordering via ChatFood.
Aiming to deliver the spirit of African cuisine in every bite, highlights on the menu include the Talking Drum: glazed salmon with spicy buttered corn, amaranth greens and jollof, and the best-selling Dancing Waist – hot honey chicken, jollof rice, tomatoes and salad.
“Since Catfish’s inception, I have seen the love and growing demand for African culture and food in the region, which makes me proud as a Nigerian.
Our aim is to continue to expand the taste of Africa in the region and make our healthier African dishes easily accessible to everyone,” says Gbemi Giwa, Founder of Catfish.
Apart from jollof, Catfish is also crazy about the planet and you can feel good knowing that all packing used is 100 percent plastic-free and biodegradable.
