Dubai’s The Waterfront Market art competition returns to honour UAE frontline workers
If you have a spark of artistic prowess and looking for a way to support Dubai’s frontline workers, now’s your chance to make a masterpiece – and be in with the chance to win a whopping Dhs15,000.
For the third year in a row, The Waterfront Market’s Murals and Art Competition returns, and it’s all about honouring frontline workers.
The winning design, as chosen by a panel of judges, will be reproduced on a 120cm x 90cm canvas by the artists, to be owned by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority,
and also painted by the artists on one of the largest walls at the Waterfront Market.
Have the winning concept? Deadline for submissions is on Thursday October 15, and you can get yourself registered for free and submit your entry by heading to: www.murals.waterfrontmarket.ae.
“Inspiring our community is of paramount interest to us at the Waterfront Market. The market aims to rejuvenate the city’s original hub and celebrating the Murals and Art Competition annually complements our vision,” said Waterfront market manager Mohammad Al Madani
“We owe our deepest gratitude to all the brave frontline workers for selflessly and tirelessly working for the good of the wider community, and the mural design competition theme is a symbolic thank you from us to all of them.”
