Stuck for an early stocking filler for your crooner-crazy other half? Dubai Opera has the answer as beloved Brighton busker Passenger is playing a double bill there on Friday December 4.

Passenger coming to Dubai Opera next week

The proud owner of an unfathomable amount of YouTube hits (2.8billion at the latest count) for his lovelorn lament ‘Let Her Go’,

Michael Rosenberg is all set to get those lighters waving (health and safety rules permitting) twice, just three weeks before the big day.

And if, like the 2.8billion couples who had his greatest hit as their wedding song (figures guessed at time of going to print), you feel your post-2002 offspring deserve to hear a slice of your own Big Day, then the 2pm matinée is perfect.

Passenger will then return for an 8pm slot that night, still thoroughly glowing from the success of his sold-out gig at the same venue in 2019.

“I didn’t think I’d be able to announce a live show for a long, long time but unbelievably that’s exactly what I’m doing,” he said.

“I am beyond delighted to say that I will be playing two gigs at the Dubai Opera. The shows will be socially distanced, which means there is a very limited number of tickets. Please grab yours soon if you’d like to come along.”

Passenger has also reached number one in 19 countries and has recorded 12 studio albums in 11 years.

Don’t want to miss it? Tickets start at Dhs295.
From Dhs295. Dec 4, 2pm and 8pm. Dubai Opera, Downtown Dubai
