Product of the Year Gulf, the exclusive consumer-voted award for product innovation, is proud to announce the long-awaited winners for 2021 Product of the Year (POY) Awards.

Product of The Year Gulf Announces 2021 Award Winners

Through a regional study, conducted by Nielsen, a world-wide leader in consumer research, thousands of shoppers, across the Gulf region,

selected the most-innovative products to receive the POY recognition as the most groundbreaking in their categories.

With more than 30 years’ experience and a wide presence within 45 countries.

POY has been championing newly launched products, which resonate best with consumers through their function, offerings, or design, by awarding them its highly-coveted red seal.

POY remains consumers’ reliable guide for product selection. This fact has been verified once again through Nielsen’s 2021 study where 91% of surveyed consumers noted that they trust products bearing the POY label. Moreover, according to retail audit across various categories, earning the POY logo has proved to induce new product trial and drive sales upward.

Amid COVID-19 and its corresponding lockdowns, product innovation continued to accelerate. In this regard, CPG and service companies explored new methods to develop their products. Commenting on this trend, CCO & Partner – Middle East, Zeina Estwany said, “We are happy to see new categories take part in the competition this year. We have witnessed innovative and unique products that are following the global consumer trends. Protein-based products, antibacterial protection and easy to cook products have topped our list, reflecting new dynamics in product creation.”
