Topgolf opens in Dubai
Topgolf – the much anticipated sports and entertainment venue at Emirates Golf Club – is opening on Sunday January 3.
Topgolf will open at 4pm, and is on a walk-in basis, with no reservations currently available, so head along if you want to check it out.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the exciting new venture, and the time has come to get along and check it out.
Housed at Emirates Golf Club, the massive new venue is home to 90 climate-controlled hitting bays in a huge three-storey site.
Similar to a driving range, but with food and drinks, the licensed venue is sure to be a hit with golf fans and non-golfers alike. There’s also set to be live music, live sport being shown on big-screen TVs, a mini golf course and three luxury VIP suites.
You don’t need to be a pro, as it’s designed to be a load of fun. Each ball has a tracker in it, and you compete against your mates in a series of challenges, such as who can get closest to a target, and so on.
It’s aimed at all levels of skill and age groups, and it’s popular with both friends and families, and you buy a membership to play.
General play will start at Dhs130 per hour, per bay. Your bay hire will include unlimited balls and the use of clubs, so you can have as many goes as you like to get it right.
It will be a fifth location globally for the brand – which also has outlets in the US and UK.
Topgolf also has three restaurants and bars. The Bunker on the lower level has a café and mini golf, while on the ground floor there’s The Yard – a sports bar featuring live music, sports and happy hours as well as a menu of all-American grub.
And for super views across to Dubai Marina and behind there’s rooftop bar The Loft.
